Mr. Arkangelo spent over 12 years working as a lay leader (parishner) in the Catholic Archdiocese of Khartoum, working for peace and justice among small Christian communities. He also spent 7 years working as a human rights activist in both Sudan and Egypt.

Currently, Mr. Arkangelo is a student in Marain College (Catholic and Franciscan Institution) in Indianapolis, Indiana (USA). He is studying his first Bachelor of Arts majoring in Political Science, and also pursuing a minor in Global Studies in the Franciscan Center for Global Studies, Marian College.

Arkangelo is also the founder of Peace Watch International.
