The SSIDP is an institution that is concerned with local, regional, and international issues of democracy, social justice, and human rights. In this context, it is imperative that it has to maintain links and contacts with other similar institutions worldwide. This program therefore is established to carry out the following:

• To establish links and making contacts between SSIDP and all other local, regional, and international bodies, institutions, including governments.
• Keep SSIDP well informed on all issues and matters that are of public, local, regional and international concern.
• Arrange meetings, between the concerned authorities of SSIDP and other private, and public organizations, local, regional, and international institutions, or with government authorities.
• Plan, develop and lay down the public and external policies for SSIDP.
• Provides professional, technical, and expert advice the national government on public and external policies, and the state, and local governments on issues of public policy.
• Establishes good public and external relations between SSIDP and other local, regional, and international bodies, organizations, institutions, including governments.
