The CACE focuses on developing leadership capacities and skills of potential and existing leaders in civic organizations in South Sudan. Its major objective is to strengthen the capacity of civil society leadership to participate in policy formulation, policy-making, and policy development and implementation, thereby building up a strong civil society organizations. Activities include:

• Raising up of Community leaders
• Making citizens to be aware of their political, civil, and other rights.
• Citizen leadership training.
• Active citizenship training.
• Institutional, group, and community capacity building.

The objective here is to arrive at having citizen leadership for good governance.
